Imperial System vs. Metric System

No clue what the differences between the imperial and metric system are?

There are two measuring methods: the Imperial System and the Metric System. Most countries use the Metric System whereas people in the United States use the Imperial System.

Here's a little background story:

The Imperial System is also called The British Imperial because it came from the British Empire that ruled many parts of the world from the 16th to the 19th century. The new American government decided to keep the Imperial system after they gained indepence from Britain. The US is one of the few countries using this system.

If you are moving to the United States this can be a tough challenge. But don't worry. I am here to help. I made a helpful cheat sheet. Most of us (if you are like me) will carry tons of imperial vs metric notes around....(o god....)

I used piktochart.com. Very helpful if you want to create cheat sheets :)
